LADIES OF HARLEY
CLEVELAND CHAPTER H.O.G.

There was a time when a woman riding a motorcycle was looked at with scorn. Thankfully, those days are long gone – thanks, in large part, to the many women who ride their own Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. We celebrate those women with the Ladies of Harley® (L.O.H.)

You must be an active full, full life, associate, or associate life member of H.O.G.® to be affiliated with Ladies of Harley. Although L.O.H. is free of charge, this benefit is not automatic. If you would like to join, update your membership profile to include L.O.H..)

Welcome to the Cleveland Chapter L.O.H. web page.  We will try to keep you updated on the latest events and rides that our group is doing throughout the year.  Our ladies come in all sizes, shapes, and ages.  But one thing we have in common is:

WE LOVE TO RIDE OUR HARLEYS!!

If you are a lady that has wanted to tap into the experience of riding by yourself, and you are not sure where to start, come and join us at our next Garage Party. (See Below)  This was started by Harley-Davidson to encourage more women to get on their own motorcycles and ride with the boys.  Harley-Davidson realized that we are the largest group of new riders and we know what we want.  You will be shown what to wear, how to maintain your motorcycle and few other tips to keep you safe.  Our first one for this year is April 20th at South East Harley-Davidson on Aurora Rd in Bedford Heights.  Time is 6pm to 8pm. Sign up with Jane in the Leather Shop.

Garage Party!!

What a huge success!! We had 38 ladies in attendance.  The biggest yet.  Jose Delgado of the Cleveland Police Department was kind enough to give the ladies a talk about safety when you are riding, and tips on how to get out of situations you didn't plan to be in.  He made sure to let all of us know that we can make a difference on whether we are a victim or survivor.  Remember, be prepared, and make everyone aware that you are aware.  And keep your hands and confidence up.  It could save your life.  Jane in the Leather shop has a flyer that contains Jose's studio address and phone number.  We will be planning a visit sometime in the fall or winter to test out our skills.  Details later.

Ken and Ken were so kind to give maintenance tips to the ladies and also let them know how to lift their bike in case of a spill.  Thank you so much for your help.

Bobbie in sales, with the help of Regina, allowed the ladies to try on different bikes. You all know how ladies like to shop.  And we will spend the money if given a chance.

Thanks again to all who participated.

That isn’t all we do. We sponsor the new member orientation every year and have our annual bake sale at South East.  This year we are planning 2 rides, May 26th and June 23rd.  Details to follow.

So ladies, lets ride and have fun!
